Writing Credits: I write regularly for Mashable, Smashing Magazine and Noupe. At least two of my Mashable articles have become the most retweeted articles on the day they were published. I’m not really sure if any of my articles have ever made the front page of Digg. Other Publishing Experience: I worked for three and a half years at Second Home Assocation (2ndhome Journal and 2ndhome Specialist), doing advertising design, magazine layout, and web design. I’ve also done some copyediting for American Book Publishing. I specialize mostly in blog design. I’ve done a few websites not built on WordPress, but I really don’t like to. I’m working on some new themes for public release at the moment and not taking on any new web design clients, though I might do a blog theme customization or two if you ask really nicely. Education: Formally trained in interior design, self-taught in everything else. Future Plans and Other Projects: I’m currently working on my first non-fiction book about social media. I’ve also got five novels-in-progress (I like to multitask). I design and make jewelry on occasion. I’ve got some ideas in the works for a clothing line, too. I’m obsessed with typography and WordPress. I’m a serial entrepreneur and I’m not really happy if I don’t have at least a half dozen projects going at one time. Writing is my passion, though, and no matter what I do down the road, you can bet words will be a part of it.
